Tracy got a new pair of the Rossignol S2 Premium skate skis from Nordic Ultratune, with the UV-2 grind.     He says they’re running great in the new snow at SilverStar and Sovereign Lake.

Meanwhile, back here in the Methow Valley, 50% of the trails are opening today  – that’s more than 100km – which is a good start.     A good snowfall came yesterday, leaving 5-8 more inches through the valley, and that’s enough to get trails open.
